Donating to NUIP
We thank you for your interest in our department. We are committed to providing world class educational experiences for our trainees and the community while conducting pioneering research on the link between nutrition and disease. Our focus on “translational metabolic health” distinguishes us from other universities and research institutes and our cross-disciplinary programs span the entire translational spectrum.
Many of our programs, including our laboratory research and our community partnerships with schools, homeless shelters, and community centers, rely heavily on donations from our supporters. Such gifts allow us to develop new programs, enhance our research activities, and deliver free services to people throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
If you are interested in giving, we encourage you to either speak to our Director of Advancement Anna Tibbitts or you may also give directly at the following link.
Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in the volunteering with the University of Utah Center for Community Nutrition. We are a public service center that provides comprehensive education outreach to middle and high school students, medically underserved populations, college students, and families experiencing homelessness.
We provide volunteers with training to teach and inspire participants in our programs to incorporate healthy eating into their daily lives.
