DPT INFORMATION SESSIONS

The Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training has three information sessions for prospective students that highlight what students need to know if they are just exploring the profession of physical therapy, considering applying to a physical therapy program, or have begun the application for the University of Utah Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

    INTRODUCTION TO DPT PROGRAM

    Audience: Students exploring the profession of physical therapy.

    Attendees will learn:

    • How physical therapy compares and contrasts with other professions like occupational therapy and athletic training.
    • About the professional outlook for physical therapists.
    • The history, current state of, and prerequisites to the University of Utah Physical Therapy Program.

    DPT APPLICATION & ADMISSION PROCESS

    Audience: Students preparing or planning to apply to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

    Attendees will learn:

    • The prerequisites for admission to the DPT program.
    • Details about the application requirements and process.
    • Tips for submitting a strong application.

    STUDENT LED CAMPUS TOURS

    Join one of our student led tours at our Salt Lake City and St. George facilities. Salt Lake tours will take place at 3:00pm MT on the last Friday of the month. St. George tours take place upon request, Monday-Friday during business hours.
