Minimum Eligibility

Minimum eligibility for acceptance to the program includes:

Proof of current physical therapy licensure for the state of Utah

Applicants anticipating graduation from a Physical Therapy program in the Spring must have scheduled date to sit for licensure examination no later than July and evidence of good standing for graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program. Must have full or temporary licensure before start of employment.

Application materials and $50 application fee due Feb 1

Finalists interview/complete evaluation of basic clinical competence (long distance options available) tentative 2020 interview date Monday, Mar 9

Notification of acceptance and facility placement within a week following interviews

Program begins First full week of August (2020 start date: Aug 3)

  • Program orientation
  • Begin employment at assigned clinical facility
  • Didactic sessions begin
  • Residency fee due (payment options available)

Program ends Last week of July of following year (class of 2021 end date: July 30, 2021)
