  • About Me

Dr. Preston Ward has a background in kinesiology and spanish language studies. After completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the Univeristy of Utah, he participated in the Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residents at the University of Utah (class of 2017). He grew up in Salt Lake City spending his time playing sports including baseball, lacrosse, snowboarding, skateboarding, and archery. He enjoys working with active mountain athletes including trail runners, hikers, bikers, skiers, snowboarders, archers and hunters. He is particularly interested in rehab after ACLr and helping people get back to sport quickly. Given his background in archery, he enjoys helping others train and prevent injury regarding the upper body and shoulder girdle.

Dr. Ward believes the key to a good learning environment is open communication and a downright passion for learning and improving. He is always seeking to learn new skills and to develop as a mentor, teacher, therapist, and friend. Outside the clinic you will see him hiking the hills with a bow in hand spending time with his wife, daughter, dog, and mule.
