Community Outreach

Committee

The Undergraduate Outreach Committee is led by current Master of Athletic Training students whose purpose is to find and provide ways for undergraduate students to explore and get involved with athletic training. Our roles and responsibilities are to provide undergraduate students with information, resources, and events for undergraduate students to utilize as they explore the athletic training profession.

The Community Outreach Committee actively engages with the community, showcasing the vital role of athletic training in maintaining peak physical performance and injury prevention. Through our participation in events like the Care Fair, we provide invaluable insights into the profession's tasks and responsibilities, fostering a deeper understanding among attendees. Moreover, we extend a warm invitation to high school students, offering exclusive opportunities to explore the dynamic field of athletic training firsthand. Join us in our mission to educate, inspire, and make a positive impact on health and wellness within our community!

Professional Development

Committee

Events

Committee

The Professional Development Committee aims to provide current Master of Athletic Training students with opportunities to develop professional skills and to network with experienced clinicians within the profession. Our main goals are to promote student success during their transition into athletic training and to facilitate student engagement at professional conferences.

The Events Committee is largely responsible for planning and executing ATSA relevant events or event series. This can include tasks such as designing event concepts, coordinating logistics, and overseeing marketing and promotions. The committee works together to ensure that each event is successful and meets the goals and objectives outlined by the organizers.

She moved to Salt Lake City in 2019 to attend the University of Utah where she received a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2022 and is currently in the 1st year of their Masters of Science Athletic Training program. Growing up Cora began dancing at the age of two and continued through high school as part of a pre-professional ballet program. Due to injury she turned her attention to aiding other dancers through the physical and mental obstacles unique to performing arts. After receiving her Athletic Training Certification, Cora hopes to continue working with dancers in the professional and clinical setting.
