PT Program Scholarships
Each academic year the department offers scholarships to students currently enrolled in the DPT program. The department distributes applications once a year, at the beginning of fall semester. For college-wide scholarship opportunities, please visit the College of Health Scholarships page.
We also encourage students to look into University-wide scholarships through the University of Utah Scholarship Database to find additional scholarship opportunities.

Joseph Ray and Lorna S. Broadbent Endowed Scholarship
Awarded based on a record of personal integrity, academic excellence and financial need.
Betty and Gordon Browning Scholarship Fund
Awarded based on academic excellence, financial need and involvement in both community & service activities.
Ronald and Donna P. Call Scholarship
Awarded based on financial need and academic excellence.
Disabled American Veterans Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to 2 Utah residents each year demonstrating financial need and academic excellence; recipients are preferably Disabled American Veteran themselves or a child of a Disabled American Veteran.
Harry F. and Norma K. Forsey Endowed Scholarship
Awarded based on academic excellence, financial need and involvement in both community & service activities.
Robert G. Green, PT Endowed Scholarship
Awarded based on academic excellence, financial need, interest in direct patient care and involvement in both community & service activities.
Don Hutchison Scholarship in the College of Health
Awarded based on academic excellence, financial need, interest in direct patient care and involvement in both community & service activities.

Vernal and Anora Mortensen Endowed Scholarship
Awarded based on academic excellence, financial need and involvement in both community & service activities; preference given to students from Sevier County or students with family ties to Sevier County.
C. Jesse Peck Scholarship
Awarded based on academic excellence, financial need and involvement in both community & service activities; preference given to students who demonstrate a commitment to patients needing neurological physical therapy & rehabilitation.
