Amber Murray-Smith

Originally from the UK, I am currently a PhD student in the Rehabilitation Sciences program with a clinical background as an occupational therapist specializing in neurorehabilitation across acute and inpatient rehabilitation settings. My previous research experience includes studying Parkinson’s disease at Tuft’s University. Currently, my research interests include dyadic activity participation patterns among couples living with neurodegenerative diseases or severe and complex brain injury, including stroke. I earned my BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy in the UK in 2006, followed by a post-professional master’s and clinical doctorate in occupational therapy in 2017 and 2019, respectively. In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga and tai chi, connecting with family, and learning to snowboard!
