The Center for Emergency Programs offers a wide variety of training in wilderness medicine and technical rescue to meet the needs of individuals and emergency response personnel. We offer certification and non-certification technical rescue courses for academic students, rescue professionals, and all community members.

    Our courses serve as an introduction to the skills and systems utilized during rescue operations during a swiftwater rescue or other rescue training.

    Complete the assumption of risk waiver prior to attending your rescue training course.

    Remote Rescue Training Instructors

    Our instructors bring a level of technical mastery and savvy for the environment that comes from years of experience conducting rescues and patient care far from the reach of urban EMS systems. Our instructors have decades of experience and are some of the most dynamic and entertaining educators in the field.

    They all bring the perspective of years of high level instruction and getting after ambitious objectives on their "off time".
