Steering Committee
The MW-PRC Steering Committee is comprised of representatives from medical clinics, schools, non-profit organizations, health departments, and other local experts in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
The Steering Committee assists in identifying Center priorities, makes recommendations for future directions, and ensures their communities have access to tools that improve family health.
The Steering Committee meets twice a year, once in-person and once virtually, to advise and collaborate with the MW-PRC staff. The Committee is made up of community members who are part of all components of the Center and are part of identifying community health priorities, creating shared goals, and developing plans.
The Mountain West Prevention Research Center is supported by the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research Center (1U48DP006789), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award.
