Internships
Our internship meets the rigorous requirements of Utah State, NCTRC, and the University of Utah. For a current copy of the internship handbook, reach out to the Clinical Education Coordinator.
Internship Placements must be secured by:
- Summer Internship: March 1st
- Fall Internship: June 1st
- Spring Internship: October 1st

Clinical Experiences
Our program offers unique opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience working with diverse populations through clinical experiences. During four separate courses in the RT program, we offer clinical experiences that coincide with their academic coursework. We're seeking agencies to provide supervised clinical placements in the following areas:
- Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (25-hour Volunteer Experience)
- Older Adults (40 Hour Placement)
- Physical Medicine (10 Hour Virtual Mentorship)
- Mental Health (40 Hour Placement)
