Jose Anguiano-Hernandez is currently a PhD student in the Cognitive and Motor Neuroscience track in the Department of Health & Kinesiology. He received his BS in Physics and MS in Biomechanics from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2020 and 2022, respectively. His thesis research focused on plantar normal force and ankle kinematics during normal and assisted walking in Type 2 Diabetes patients. His current research interests include the interplay between foot biomechanics and vascular physiology, and how they contribute to skin temperature change during walking. In his free time, Jose enjoys soccer, hiking, astronomy, and motorsports.
