Troy joined the University of Utah’s Kinesiology’s Department in 2012 as their head Bowling Instructor. Troy’s bowing career began in the early 80’s where he was introduced to the sport by his parents Paul and Karen. For the next several years, he bowled many youth leagues and tournament and then in the early 90’s, he moved to the adult division. Troy’s coaching career began in 2004 while working for his parents at Pullman’s Bowling center where he earned his Level 1 coaching certification. He used this knowledge for the next several years to help coach several youth leagues which allowed him to earn his Bronze Coaching Level in 2009 and in 2014 his Silver level Certification. He has been a member of the RVP program since 2004. In 2012, Troy joined the local bowling association as a Youth Committee Director to help promote the sport to kids of all ages. Troy has coached Bowlers of all skill levels from the beginner bowler up to the advanced level player. His main focus is to provide each student with the techniques and skills so they are on a path to become great players in this sport.
