Saesha Ray is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah’s John and Maria Price College of Engineering, where she is a member of the Honors College. Her academic and research interests lie at the intersection of biomechanics, medical devices, and translational biomedical research. She has gained experience through hackathons, biomechanics labs, software development, investigating fracture prevention strategies, and authored research on targeted cancer therapies. Her passion for biomedical engineering is driven by a desire to improve patient outcomes and quality of life through finding a combination in biomedical sciences and technology. Outside of research, Saesha enjoys dance, hiking, and playing with her dog.
