Matt has been a river guide for over 12 years, as well as spending time as a NPS River Patrol Ranger. He's also been teaching and coaching in different formats for the same. He is a graduate of our program, with a BS in EMS, specializing in wilderness rescue, and has helped build the RRT program. He is also an AEMT and WEMT. Matt teaches in many of the programs in the department, including First Aid, EMT, AEMT, and all of our rescue courses. His long experience teaching, rescuing, Park Rangering, and guiding in river environments has translated very well to our swiftwater courses.
