About Me

Kylee (Eldridge) Heap is a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Sayu Lab for Biomechanics & Locomotion in the Department of Health and Kinesiology. Kylee earned her BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Utah State University in 2022 where she worked with Dr. Chris Dakin to teach laboratory courses for Introduction to Biomechanics. Kylee then went on to earn her MS in Kinesiology at Utah State University in 2024 where she worked with Dr. Brennan Thompson. For her MS thesis, she developed and conducted a comprehensive examination of age-related lower limb muscle function asymmetries across a variety of muscle contraction types. Additionally, during her time as a graduate student, Kylee was the Instructor of Record for Introduction to Biomechanics. During both her undergraduate and graduate degrees, Kylee worked as a Physical Therapist’s Aide administering patient care to those in need. When not working, Kylee enjoys being outside (i.e., fishing, sledding, or just plain basking in the sun) and attending various sporting events with her friends and family!
