Dr. Josh Fuhriman is employed by the University Orthopaedic Center to work in the Beadles Athletic Training Room with the University of Utah athletics teams. He is a clinical mentor and serves on the residency Leadership Committee, representing the resources and interests of University of Utah Athletics.
Dr. Fuhriman earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University and his undergraduate degree and Athletic Training certification from the University of Utah. He spent the first 14 years of his career in private practice PT clinics in both Las Vegas and the Salt Lake area. During his years practicing private physical therapy, Dr. Fuhriman focused on orthopedics, enjoyed working with athletes of all ages, developed expertise in vestibular rehab, and certified in ASTYM, Dry Needling, and various manual techniques. He is enjoying the shift in his career to focus on college athletes.
Dr. Fuhriman and his wife have four children. He enjoys boating and outdoor activities as well as watching his children participate in sports.
