Dr. Jennifer Hale is an Associate Professor (clinical) and Director of the DPT Hybrid Pathway in the Department of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training. She earned her PhD in Epidemiology from The University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health, where her research focused on the examining the effect of physical activity and sedentary behavior on brain health. She earned her BS and DPT from Boston University, completed her residency training at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, TX, and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. Her primary teaching responsibilities are in the DPT program in Neuromuscular Management. She has served the physical therapy profession at the state, national, and international level in a variety of positions. In her free time, she enjoys international travel, hiking, cooking, and finding the best cold brew in town.
