Ildiko's deep sense of purpose originates from her teaching. She feels truly fortunate that her diverse experience in sport, as an Olympian, in biomechanically effective movement patterns, and in mindfulness have an ideal yet rare link between her teaching and evidence-based practice, her two passions. A physically active healthy lifestyle comes natural to her and moving is her way to be. Since her childhood, sport, exercise and physical activity, especially swimming, have been an efficient way of keeping her body and mind strong, resilient, and healthy. In her classes, she expects excellence from herself and from her students. As such, she provides proper support; everyone collaborates and discusses skills and fitness development in group and individual settings. Her teaching approach is integrative. Individual goal setting and feedback create opportunities for her students to rise for the challenge and master skills. Teaching individuals to enhance their psychological and physical well-being is her life. For her, swimming is a life skill; swimming with a “blue mind” is a lifestyle. She loves the outdoor activities every season can offer in Utah from ripping up the powder to hiking Mt. Olympus.
