Dr. Dan Shelly earned his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from The University of Pittsburgh in 2011 before completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 2014. He is currently working on the Spinal Cord Injury team at the University of Utah inpatient medical rehab unit. He is passionate about proper seating and positioning needs for his patients in order to maximize independence and function. He assists with labs and lectures at the University of Utah therapy school pertaining to spinal cord injury. His mentoring philosophy revolves around bridging the gap between academic knowledge and clinical practice. In his spare time Dr. Shelly enjoys running, fly fishing, and spending time with his family outdoors.
