About Me
Amy Powell-Versteeg has been a physical therapist assistant for over 12 years. She graduated from Salt Lake Community College with an Associates of Science degree and her PTA Certification. Amy came to University of Utah Health's Rehab and Wellness Clinic in 2006.
Amy is experienced in neurological rehabilitation and has worked directly with clients in a variety of rehabilitation settings. She has recently completed the Pelvic Floor Rehab Level 1 Course through the APTA and also is a certified LSVT BIG trainer and a Lymphedema Decongestive Therapist.
Amy is active in clinical education and is currently co-teaching the APTA Credentialed Clinical Trainer Program. She is also co-teaching the “Teaching and Learning in Physical Therapy I and II” course. Amy also organizes continuing education opportunities through the Department of Physical Therapy.
Amy is involved with the American Physical Therapy Association at both the State and National levels, and is a current member of the Salt Lake Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program Advisory Committee.
