Dr. Laurie Forsberg earned her BS in Zoology from Miami University in 1993 and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St Louis in 1995. She began her career in inpatient rehabilitation and has worked in acute care for the last 19 years. She has enjoyed the challenge of working at the University of Utah for the last 20+ years.
Dr. Forsberg’s clinical interests involve all things neuro including stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. She enjoys the wide variety of challenging diagnoses she encounters with patients in a Level I Trauma Center and loves working with the interdisciplinary team needed to provide patient-centered care in the acute and intensive care settings. She is a credentialed clinical instructor who has been teaching students throughout her career and has functioned in the role of acute care mentor for the University of Utah Neurological Residency for the last 2 years.
Dr. Forsberg’s personal interests include running, mountain biking, skiing, and camping with her husband, 2 teenage boys, and chocolate lab.
