David Weber has worked as a rescue technician, firefighter, and instructor for the past decade. This experience has given him a strong background in professional urban and wilderness rescue and a working knowledge of a variety of rescue systems. He currently divides his year working as a Denali mountaineering ranger, a lead guide for the Khumbu Climbing Centre, and a lead instructor at Remote Rescue Training. Dave fills in his shoulder season gaps as a lead guide for Alpine Ascents International, a senior field instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School, and a lead instructor for the Wilderness Medicine Institute. A common theme connecting all of these various pursuits is the opportunity for Dave to spend large portions of his year treating injured patients in remote and technical settings. Dave is passionate about Remote Rescue Training Courses and the opportunity to incorporate a variety of his interests into one course syllabus.
