Tim is from southeastern Pennsylvania, from the small town of West Grove. He attended Penn State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and played men’s lacrosse for 4 years. Upon graduation, he attended Widener University to pursue his doctorate in physical therapy. While at Widener, he served as the Clinic Coordinator for the Chester Community Physical Therapy Clinic – a student-run pro bono clinic that serves the community of Chester, PA. Through serving in this position, he had the opportunity to present at the New Jersey Occupational Therapy Association Conference, and at Combined Sections Meeting in San Antonio regarding the development of student-run pro bono clinics. Tim graduated from Widener in May 2018 and accepted a position as a staff physical therapist at Excel Physical Therapy in Glen Mills, PA.
After working for a short time as a new graduate physical therapist, he decided that he wanted to further his education through a physical therapy residency program. He accepted a position in the University of Utah’s Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency due to its emphasis on clinical education, the opportunity to work at two diverse medical centers, the numerous mentorship experiences, the various teaching opportunities, and the opportunities to give back through community service. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds and has a strong desire to give back to the profession through teaching and student mentorship. In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights, snowboarding, climbing and hiking.
