Erin Probert, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Dr. Erin Probert is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from San Diego State University in 2006 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah in 2010. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship training in orthopedic manual physical therapy through Regis University in 2018.

Since 2023, Dr. Probert has served as a faculty member for the Orthopedic Residency Program and began mentoring within the program in 2024. She currently holds an adjunct faculty position with the University of Utah Department of Physical Therapy and serves as the Clinical Director of the Utah Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency.

As a clinician, Dr. Probert applies her fellowship training and utilizes a systematic test–retest methodology to identify the most effective interventions for optimizing patient outcomes. She integrates a diverse range of treatment approaches and emphasizes patient education to cultivate a strong therapeutic alliance. Her clinical philosophy centers on promoting patient self-efficacy and empowering individuals to take an active role in their care and recovery.

In her role as a mentor and educator, Dr. Probert strives to respectfully challenge learners’ critical thinking skills to enhance their confidence in clinical reasoning, evaluation, and treatment.
