Jordan Tazoi earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Utah in 2010, followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the same institution in 2017. He became Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy in 2018 upon completion of his residency through the University of Utah. Since 2024, Jordan has served as a faculty member in the Orthopaedic Residency Program and continues to mentor current residents at the University Orthopaedic Center.
As a clinician, Jordan employs an exercise-forward approach with a strong emphasis on patient education and the development of self-efficacy. He is committed to empowering patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation and long-term well-being through evidence-based practice and individualized care.
As a mentor and educator, Jordan fosters an environment of open inquiry and respectful dialogue. He values diverse perspectives and recognizes the importance of differing opinions and backgrounds in advancing clinical reasoning and professional growth. Jordan believes that diversity of background, lived experience and thought enhances collaboration, promotes innovation, and strengthens the quality of care delivered to patients.
