(College of Health) Educational Resource Development Council (ERDC) Scholarship

ERDC

(College of Health) Educational Resource Development Council (ERDC) will award scholarships to deserving students from the School of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Health and College of Pharmacy and School of Dentistry who have demonstrated excellence in their field; and who have financial need. Diversity will also be emphasized. The number and amount of the scholarships is yet to be determined.

Criteria:

* 3.5 GPA Where Applicable (School of Medicine Dean’s Choice Pass/Fail)

* A full-time declared major in one of the above-mentioned college or the School of Medicine whose field of study has an emphasis on diversity.

 * A prospective junior, senior, or graduate student.

Procedure:

*Friday, March 1, 2019 is the deadline for submitting applications. (Students of Medicine, please submit applications to Wendy Clark.


*Applicants will be notified by April 1, 2019 if they are invited to move to the finalstage of the application process.


*Finalists will be required to attend the ERDC Scholarship Introduction Lunch, Monday, April 22, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLETO ATTEND AT LEAST ONE HOUR OF THIS MEETING. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOUCANNOT ATTEND.


*Prior to release of funds, students should plan to submit a thank you letter to ERDCmembers.
