Curriculum

PhD students may complete program courses in the (a) Integrative Physiology or (b) Nutrition tracks, with the thesis advisory committee having the option to revise course requirements to meet the needs of the student.

Coursework generally takes two years to complete with the rest of the program (total of four to five years) centered on the dissertation research.

Emphasis Areas

  • Physiology Track: 30 credits from major, six credits from electives + dissertation hours
  • Nutrition Track: 30.5 credits from major, six credits + dissertation hours
