Christine Ryan, PT

Christy Ryan graduated from the State University of NY at Buffalo in 1989 with a degree in Physical Therapy. She brings more than 30 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in both the inpatient medical rehab and acute care settings and has worked at the University of Utah Hospital since 2005. She is currently supervisor of the Neuro Acute Care Therapy Team and continues to work as a clinician in neuro acute and neuro critical care. As supervisor, she guides staff and contributes to implementation of program development and quality improvement, staff education, and development. In 2017, Christy led the Neuro team in the development and implementation of the Neuro Acute Care Early Rehab (NACER) Program, which focuses on improving patient outcomes and the value of therapy services provided in Neuro Acute Care. In recent years, she has presented at multiple national conferences.

Christie enjoys yoga, hiking, spending time with family, writing, and travelling as much as possible.
